Soren is named after the famous Danish Philosopher- Soren Kierkegaard (b.1813, d. 1855). Ben studied Kierkegaard during his Master’s Degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also wrote a paper on him. Soren is one of Ben’s favorite philosophers. Soren means “Thunder” and goes very well with the middle name- “Prakash” which means “Light”.
The middle name is dedicated to Soren’s Nana (maternal grandfather).
